I am excited to celebrate nine years of Karen Oakley Designs. I started out as a person with a great creative idea, a strong skill set and an education to back me up. I had written a business plan and tucked it away but felt ‘responsible’ because I had actually authored one.

This last year, I worked with a man named Bill Branson, CEO of Strategic Business Architects. He is my business coach and encouraged me to look at my business plan and re-evaluate some of my goals and missions. It was a very eye opening experience to see how much my business has changed over the past nine years and how differently I serve my clients.

We worked on a ONE PAGE BUSINESS PLAN: short, concise, definitive goals. I was able to identify my key and valued strengths in both myself and in my clients. I revised my plan to serve them with great efficiency and profitability for this year and for the upcoming year of 2013.

Mr. Branson shared an interesting article from StratPad entitled, ‘Entrepreneur Magazine loves short business plans’. Click on the link to find some interesting insight on how this can help you and your business.

If you are a new business starting out or you have been around a while but would like to breathe some new life into your work, I recommend visiting with Mr. Branson with Strategic Business Architects. Some of the smallest modifications can have the greatest impact!
