Bus Ministry Celebration Campaign
The Community Ministry director of NRHBC in Ft. Worth asked me to help her design a campaign for the church's Bus Ministry. They were celebrating the seventh year of this ministry and wanted to show how it had grown and what an impact it had in the community. The church has three buses (named Faith, Hope and Love) and a full team of volunteers that reaches out to those who can't come "to" the church. I designed a look that embodied the distinct color of the buses (Navy and White) with a bright "school bus yellow" accent color. The campaign included a number of 'outside the box' items such as a die cut bus shaped bookmark that was put in each church bulletin, round high gloss stickers for children and people to stick on their books, large 24"x48" foam core mounted posters set up next to decorated tables that had letter sized color flyers and materials to inform and encourage people to take part. I topped it off with four pennant banners to float across the four navy celebration tables. These were done with thick laminated card stock so they could also be put up inside the buses and used over again.
